My Project

My district has adopted Wit & Wisdom for next school year and I have started some modules this year. I am excited to dive deeper and provide my students with some meaningful lessons. My students come from a very diverse population ethnically and socio-economically and they all deserve the best education I can provide.

These manipulatives will help provide my students with meaningful, purposeful and structured play that will reinforce the deeper knowledge Wit & Wisdom lessons.

The safari animals, building blocks, bus and barbie will be used for teaching Module 0, Wild About Books; while the farm set, pigs, goats, wolves, and building blocks will be used during teaching Module 2, On The Farm.

The Numberblocks will help my students in Math. Hands on, concrete manipulatives always help younger learners transfer abstract to concrete.

I believe purposeful play in Kindergarten is so important. These manipulatives will not only help reinforce the lessons taught, but they will also help my students build teamwork and healthy communication.
