Wireless Speaker System for Aspiring Student-Musicians

Help me give my students a complete Nakamichi Shockwave Soundbar System so that our students can make the most of their time in our orchestra classroom. From sharing music to offering practice supports, this will enhance their experience.

My Project

The presence of a professional wireless sound system in a music classroom will positively impact the educational experience of students on a daily basis. With string, wind, brass, percussion, and color guard students all passing through the classroom each day functional uses of this system include tuning (by playing reference pitches for strings and winds), intonation work through the use of drones, rhythmic training through the use of a metronome, listening to professional recordings, and connecting to exiting technology to share instructional videos and supplements, to name a few.

This wireless sound system will help improve the breadth and quality of instruction available to all students, and as a result, will support enhanced student achievement.

It is clear to all that a quality sound system is an essential component of a functional music classroom. The Nakamichi Soundbar has the technical capacity to be heard over students as they perform (as is needed with the use of a metronome, intonation drones, etc) while simultaneously serving as a high quality stereo system for our students and program.

Our students have a genuine passion for music and this project will support them as they work collaboratively both during the academic day and during student-led after school activities.
