Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our community school is very diverse where many backgrounds and languages are represented. For most of our students, English is not their primary language. As a result, my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges they face on an everyday basis, I am always looking to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences.
As Albert Einstein said, "The only source of knowledge is experience."
It is my goal as an educator to help my students not only reach the next reading level, but to keep my students motivated to learn.
My Project
We have been lucky enough to get laptops for each student to use for the upcoming school year! However, it will be a transition for us all and take time for my students to learn how to use the mouse pad properly. As a result, I want to be able to provide my students with the option of using a wireless mouse to accommodate all learners. These mice will allow my students time to become familiar with the mouse pad, while not losing too much instructional time. These wireless mice will help my students instantly in assignments and tests since most of the tests my students take are currently on the computer.
My goal is to integrate technology into my classroom on a daily basis, so it is important that I have the technology supplies to help all of my students that enter the classroom.
