This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This class is an 18+ Transition Daily Living Skills classroom. We struggle with staying healthy and preventing the spread of germs due to the nature of our disabilities. We are a classroom with 18-22-year-old high schoolers who have a wide range of disabilities including intellectual, physical, and mental health disabilities, as well as severe speech impairments.

The wished-upon supplies in this package will help us keep our classroom free of any germs that might be lurking and help with the supplies needed to teach our students better strategies for cleaning.

These supplies will help keep our sensory toys free of germs, our table that is used for both eating and learning free of germs and our laundry that is used for those above tasks. We need Kleenex, Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, Disinfectant Degreaser, and soap.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
