Donorschoose was the outlet but my family wanted to support my students and my practice. The students are excited and intrigued to learn about this process and, of course, get to use the items. \r\n\r\nWe are working on understanding stories and answering higher level language to support inferencing skills. The stories will be fun to incorporate different themes and also support those who need explicit direction in understanding different purposes of text. \r\n\r\nAs for the Switch, this is a great reward and goal my students can work towards, while also practicing using language that is appropriate in winning or losing situations.
