Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students within our fifth grade eat lunch eat lunch at 1:00pm, so we have a snack in class at 10:30am. Due to this, there is always a mess to be cleaned up and the tables in the classroom need to be wiped down after each snack session so that they can be used to teach for the remainder of the day. Though eating lunch this way works best given the circumstances and weather factors, it can be quite disgusting and hard to maintain. There is also an afterschool program that uses the classroom each day and they also have snacks in the room. Nobody wants to have critters and bugs in the classroom. The Lysol Disinfecting wipes will be used to clean up sticky spills and to wipe down tables after lunch. The students take ownership of the task and maintenance of their classroom in order to ensure a safe, disinfected environment. This ensures that we have a clean, healthy classroom.
