My Project

As part of our community service efforts, the student leadership team learned that many students come to school without the gear they need to stay warm outdoors during the winter months.

We are a nature-based school, so students spend a lot of their time outdoors, even in the winter.

This makes gear like warm gloves, hats and good socks so important. Students need to be able to stay warm and dry in order to be engaged - and to enjoy! - their learning. By giving students access to winter wear essentials at school, we are also addressing an inequality issue.
