Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The snow is starting to fall in New England and some of my students are in need of winter coats, boots, and gloves. The majority of our students walk to school everyday. This can feel like a long and challenging walk without the proper gear.

These materials will allow my students to comfortably walk to school during the winter season and play outside in the snow during recess.

Outdoor recess is just as necessary for students during the winter months. It gives them an opportunity to get fresh air and release some energy. In order for my students to truly enjoy the outdoors though, they need warm winter gear.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
