Winter Sensory Bin Filler

Help me give my students winter sensory bin filler including fake ice cubes and cotton ball snow.

My Project

Please help provide winter sensory bin filler. The items will be added to our standing table where kids dig and explore. We need a refresh as the items in there are in poor shape from students digging over the years!

The students will dig through the snow (cotton balls sprayed with glitter and icy jewels) to find an ice cube to sort.

I will use the label tape to label letters onto the ice cubes and vowels onto the igloos. The students will have to determine if the letter is a vowel or not. This is a very important skill as we have just started blending cvc words to read. Vowels make all the difference! For example "fun" becomes "fan".

The requested items should be durable to last several years. The cotton balls will last a couple of years as they don't have to retain their perfect shape. The other items are plastic and will hold up to lots of handling!
