My Students

I have an amazing set of reading intervention students in grades pre-K through fifth grade. I teach at a very diverse school in Minnesota. My school is classified as a high-poverty school with many students in the free or reduced-price lunch program.

My students have a wide variety of abilities, interests and challenges.

From learning support students, to English language learners, I am here to teach them all and give them the best education possible that meets their unique needs! My school rocks!

My Project

Winter is long, hard and cold in Minnesota. Often times our playground is closed to students because of ice. Even when the playground is closed, our students need to get outside and play.

I am asking for items that the students can use when the playground is closed or they want something different to play.

Students can create snow forts with the brick builders. They can create snow shapes with the snow molds. For the students that don't want to play in the snow, I have picked out leg skippers and frisbees. A little something for all students to play with and enjoy, this long Minnesota winter.
