Winter Fun with Games and Pretend Play

Help me give my students games, bracelet kits, and pretend play figures to use during our snack and break time instead of using technology.

My Project

The students in my fourth grade room are full of life, willing to learn, and always come to school with a positive attitude. My goal is to create an atmosphere that reflects this. I want our room to be a place they feel comfortable and enjoy coming to every single day.

I feel it is very important to give the students a small social time every day.

This allows them to learn to communicate with their classmates, learn cooperation skills, and have a time to just take a break from the curriculum and have fun. During this time I emphasize the use of NO technology. I want students to remember they can still socialize and have fun without always having a screen in front of them.

These games, bracelet kits, and pretend play sports figures will give my classroom students a wide variety of items to choose from during this 10-15 minute time period when we are stuck inside due to winter.
