Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have been working hard and growing my library to reflect my student's cultures, provide new learning opportunities to learn from others' stories, and give them a chance to love reading through diving into new graphic novels.

My building does not have a library and I am doing everything I can to get books in my students' hands that make them excited to turn their pages.

Your impact will bring a world of reading to 60 students, as well as additional kiddos who visit my library. Exposing students to new stories helps create a rich experience learning from other cultures, and feel seen on the pages connecting to themselves.
