Window Shades for Safe Schools

Help me give my students window shades for active shooter situations so they can stay safe until law enforcement arrives.

My Students

Our school is wonderful. We have sweet kids, kind kids, students who love to play sports and students who love band. They surprise me every day with their passion for life. They should be able to come to school each day knowing that we have done all we can to make sure they learn and are kept far from harm.

I want to protect the happy life they lead now and their future lives.

They deserve to feel safe in a caring and nurturing environment. Please help me to do that.

My Project

I am asking for window shades for our classroom doors. During an active shooter drill or in the event of a real situation, students must be kept safe and hidden until law enforcement arrives. These window shades are a quick and easy way to close off the line of sight so that our students can be safe. They secure easily to the classroom doors' windows and can be quickly released, if needed, to cover the window.

Please help keep our children safe with these shades.

Each shade can be cut in two to cover two classroom doors and will be given throughout our building.
