On a daily basis, students are learning and exploring while using the whiteboard desk. They feel special when they have the opportunity to sit at the desk and work out their math problems. Sometimes they even vie for a highly coveted seat at the whiteboard desk!\r\n\r\nTo my pleasant surprise, I am seeing an impact on students' curiosity. My high school students have had questions about how the school receives supplies, the cost of supplies, who would be willing to donate, and the process involved in getting what we need in class. My students were so excited to see the variety and options. It is exciting that there are community programs like DonorsChoose.\r\n\r\nI have about 125 students and they have all been able to enjoy a snack during class or lunch or after school. My advisory students enjoy a snack almost every day and appreciate it so much. It is incredibly difficult to focus, learn and be motivated when were hungry. They had many favorites but a few of them included the goldfish, chomps bars, and pringles.\r\n\r\nWe always appreciate the classroom support and plan to continue to build relationships with donors from Donors Choose.
