My Students

New York City is known as the "melting pot of the world". Why? Because human beings of all different ages, races and cultures call NYC their home. Our school is no different. Located in the heart of the Weeksville District, we are a Title I school with the majority of our school population being underserved youth. Within all schools, there is one subject that mixes all of the ingredients together, a spoon that stirs the pot, and that subject is physical education.

Through the use of team building, cooperative games, and team sports I seek to develop physically literate student-athletes. In addition to being physically active, health education is also important. I am a firm believer that we are all lifelong learners and love having the opportunity to share this belief with the students at our school.

My Project

As with most challenges these days, tech is providing the answer. When using school headphones, we can ensure that our scholars get a fantastic experience every day they are in class. It also helps scholars relax and take a break from all the noise and chatter that’s around them.

Headphones can be a great tool for improving focus and learning the material better in classrooms.

As a teacher, it’s important to keep these things in mind to ensure that our scholars are always in their most comfortable and relaxed conditions for learning. A pair of kid's headphones can be a cost-effective way of us achieve these goals.
