My students need the consumable materials necessary to practice life saving techniques during mock scenarios become Wilderness First Aid/CPR certified.
I love that my students crave to be challenged with real world experiences. They are inquisitive and enjoy applying subject content through community involvement.
Through challenging academics, real-world learning, and community engagement, my students discover their potential, develop persistence, and recognize the value of others preparing them for the future each one has played a part in creating.
My students not only have a solid foundation in academic skills. They also possess a different set of skills including qualities such as persistence, curiosity, ethics, and leadership. I strive to teach and model these habits throughout everything we do in and out of class.
My Project
My school is located in a hot spot for extreme outdoor sports! Due to the increasing number of youth engaging in these extreme sports; they have requested an outdoor adventure elective course that emphasizes wilderness first aid, CPR, and survival techniques.
By donating to this project, you will not only be helping students learn to assist in a rescue situation; but your donation could one day directly result in saving a life.
Being knowledgeable and skilled in providing first aid will help these students make their future workplace, home and community a safer place. His/Her quick understanding and action could prevent the injury or illness from worsening, and it may even save the person’s life.
