Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse mix of young minds. They love exploring new genres and reading about new topics! They are eager to learn and discover anything new that comes their way!

In third grade, students in Texas have the opportunity to read the books nominated for the Texas Bluebonnet Award.

After reading books from the list, students are able to vote on their favorite book which helps decide the winner from readers all over Texas. This is something new for my 3rd grade students! They love getting their hands on these amazing books and will participate in a Bluebonnet party at the end of the school year!
