Wiggling and Working!

My students need wobble chairs to help them be more productive and focused in class. Currently, we only have "traditional" desks and chairs which don't allow for much movement during lessons.

My Students

My second grade students are amazing, creative, and full of energy! They always come to class ready to learn and get the day started. They are inquisitive, intelligent, and continually inspire me to do my best to help them further develop their knowledge and their love for learning. They deserve the very best education possible and I feel that having flexible seating options within my classroom will help provide that for them. Please help me give these incredible kids an awesome classroom experience!

My Project

My second grade students are bursting with energy! We try to take lots of brain breaks, but having an outlet for those wiggles while they're working would be fantastic! These wobble chairs will allow my students to stay seated and continue working, while also allowing them to fidget and move freely. We also students with special needs that I think will benefit immensely from having an outlet that allows them to move around without creating any disruptions for their classmates or themselves. We only have traditional desks and chairs at the moment, and this project is my first step to transition my classroom over to flexible seating. I feel very strongly that allowing students to move while we're learning will help them stay focused and productive.
