My second grade students are bursting with energy! We try to take lots of brain breaks, but having an outlet for those wiggles while they're working would be fantastic! These wobble chairs will allow my students to stay seated and continue working, while also allowing them to fidget and move freely. We also students with special needs that I think will benefit immensely from having an outlet that allows them to move around without creating any disruptions for their classmates or themselves. We only have traditional desks and chairs at the moment, and this project is my first step to transition my classroom over to flexible seating. I feel very strongly that allowing students to move while we're learning will help them stay focused and productive.
