My Students

My students are not a standard set of students. They are all extremely hard workers and care greatly about being successful. My students work hard to achieve not only their own goals, but the goals of others in the class. I am always hearing students going around and helping others regardless of who they are or who their friends are.

My students are a tight nit group who care collectively, as a whole, for the success of the class.

We spend many hours a week working together, in different groups, on different projects. Much of our time is spent in different areas of the classroom, and in different sitting positions, all working as a group or class.

As a first year teacher, I am honored to have such a great class with an amazing outlook on school, learning, and struggling as a part of the learning process.

My Project

Our students are spending significant amounts of time nervous and fidgety, with the state of the world being so uncertain. With some many students fidgeting and expressing their nerves in class, it is essential to give them a proper outlet for that energy. The flexible seating I am requesting will give them that proper outlet.

Allowing my students an outlet for excess energy increases the engagement and decreases distractions to others.

With these wobble seats, students can maintain focus, increasing their ability to learn. This flexible seating is an outlet that will allow my students to get that energy out in a subtle way, reducing distractions to other students.
