Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Benjamin Franklin said, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” This is exactly why my students are in need of flexible seating that will allow them the freedom to learn in the capacity that they need.

My school is a Title I school in Oregon, where the student population qualifies for one hundred percent free or reduced-priced lunch.

These flexible seating options can be used in so many different ways in the classroom. It will be the home of our safe space. This is a place that all of my students will frequent and find peace.

Feeling safe, comfort, and having a unique place to work will make these essential pieces of my classroom.

Not only will this be an anchor for my students to go when they want a place to calm down or relax, it can also be used as a work space!

This will be used for many years to come in my classroom!
