This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are full of energy! While this energy makes learning fun every day, it can also make it difficult for them to focus and complete work. Unfortunately, this energy is often released in unproductive ways that make learning more difficult for my students. However, with fidget tools, such as wobble cushions, students can expel energy while remaining in their seats and focusing on their work!

In fact, when students are able to move in a productive way that does not take away from learning, they actually learn better than if they are required to stay still.

With fidget tools, students will be able to focus on the material they are learning, read and enjoy a book, finish an assignment, etc. rather than making sure they are meeting behavior expectations. Additionally, many of my students are kinesthetic learners, which means they need to move when learning.

This product also asks for pencils because I always want to make sure I have pencils for students who do not have them. With fidget tools and writing utensils, my students will be better able to succeed.
