My students are amazing; my students are silly; my students are smart; and my students want to learn more! My students are all special education students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and emotional disabilities who attend a school in a high-need community on the northwest side of Chicago. Nevertheless, when they receive the appropriate supports, they are able to shine. Every day, my students impress me by what they know and what they are able to learn. It is my job as their teacher to continue to challenge them and push them to grow, and it is a job I look forward to every single day!
