My Students

I teach an energetic group of third graders who love to learn. Some of my students learn differently, and I want to provide resources that will allow flexibility during the school day.

Currently, in my classroom, I have a diverse group of kids.

From students significantly below grade level, students at grade level and students above grade level, I am also blessed to teach students who are hard of hearing. Having the opportunity to teach such a variety of children is an absolute pleasure. Providing new resources for a successful education is exciting for me as their teacher.

My Project

The class has been fortunate enough to experiment with one of these Adjustable-Height Active Learning Stools already. We graciously received one through a separate donation recently. We have realized what an amazing benefit it is to have in our classroom. Instead of just one, I would love to have multiple stools to rotate throughout the class so that multiple students can benefit at the same time.

While sitting on a wiggle stool, students can actively participate in the classroom discussion, continue to wiggle quietly at their seats, not bothering anyone around them.

All students can benefit through this resource, whether they are active or just might enjoy a change.
