Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Literature allows people of all ages to escape the "real world", and explore strange and wonderful new places. My students have a waiting list to check out my classroom copies of each of these popular series. My few copies are quickly falling apart, and my students desperately need new copies to check out.

I have seen student skills advance significantly in reading and writing, simply because they read more often.

These books will provide my students much more opportunity to read for enjoyment. I have seen the correlation between students who read for fun, and gains in their academic achievement. Words can not accurately explain how having these books will benefit my students.
