My Students

My students, like so many children, come to school eager and ready to design, build, read, write and solve problems.

I want to provide as many enriching experiences as possible to fuel their passion and curiosity for learning!

My kids stay in the same classroom for reading to math, which means my classroom is their home away from home. In my school, these students are given many responsibilities throughout the day. My school is composed of an extremely diverse community. Many students rely on school for a safe environment and receive 2/3 of their daily meals in school.

My Project

Vocabulary Spelling City is an engaging tool that students can use both at home and at school to practice their spelling and vocabulary in creative and interactive ways. Students can practice their vocabulary and spelling by playing a variety of fun games and activities. The program can be accessed at school or home which promotes parental involvement

Children love to play games & teachers love to make learning engaging!

Spelling City is an online platform that accomplishes both of these tasks. Children learn about words, spelling patterns, vocabulary, and grammar through a variety of games, and teachers have the ability to assign activities, tests, and track data through Spelling City.
