My students need nonfiction interesting books about various animal adaptations in order to learn why animals vary in size, shape, habitat, etc. These books will help students to pick an animal and teach others about them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The children in my classroom are incredible thinkers, designers, problem solvers, techs, and mathematicians. Despite their low socioeconomic backgrounds they come to school with smiling faces and a love for learning that is radiant.
In our classroom we come together as a family to learn all the exciting new things that will help better ourselves for our higher education.
My students understand the meaning of grit, because they never quit learning! Our students love to work collaboratively to achieve success!
My Project
"It's called a rhinoceros and it originates in Africa. It looks like that because the horns on his face are used as protection from predators!" I find myself answering these types of questions every single day. It's because my students have not been provided the necessary materials to be able to explore the various wild animals surrounding our environment, much less a different continent.
My students acquire knowledge by visiting distant habitats through the pages of books!
These books will allow my students to step inside the grassland, or the arctic habitats and learn about the animals that live there. They will learn why jack rabbits have extremely long ears or why polar bears have black colored skin. Without these books my students will not get to learn about them and why it is important for our world to protect them from extinction!
