Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love these students of mine! They come to school every day so eager to learn something...anything new. I love giving them opportunities to collaborate with hands-on and engaging activities. They are becoming great critical thinkers and problem solvers.

I have students performing below grade level, at grade level, and above grade level, which means I am constantly looking for new ways to reach, challenge, and extend them.

They love exploring and learning new concepts in all subjects. Science and math seem to be the favorite subjects for most of my kiddos!

My Project

I want to increase my take-home library with books of high interest. My students love reading and learning about famous people from our history. These books will allow them to improve their reading skills that were impacted by COVID-19.

The computer mice will allow my students to better navigate their Chromebooks as they work on math and reading skills at their independent levels.

This will allow me to assign work on skills that need more attention, or skills that will challenge the learner. COVID-related absences have made this task for the teacher even more difficult.
