Who Says Kids Can't Make Masterpieces?

Help me give my students a place to let their masterpieces safely dry.

My Project

I teach art and technology to the most amazing students and I have a lot of them! This vibrant crew is in a STEM focused school in Washington State, which focuses highly on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This year is the first time that art has been offered, and what a joy it is to get to teach them art! They are so enthusiastic, so eager to try, and so creative. My school is an inner-city school that represents a variety of cultures. We have students who speak multiple languages and who have varying levels of financial need. Our school is deliciously diverse and a delight to be a part of.

Living a creative life is the focus in my classroom.

Whether we are working with technology or creating a visual art masterpiece, I strongly encourage kids to be creative. The students in my classes are excited to soak up all that they can, eager to try new things, and wildly proud of their successes.

My Project

One of the biggest challenges I have had this year is having space to dry all of the masterpieces. I teach a lot of students and all of their work deserves the white glove treatment. This drying rack would be incredibly helpful in our pursuit to be fearlessly creative. Thank you so very much for considering a donation to this project!
