Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The vertical whiteboards are vertical non-permanent surfaces that provide a safe space to think and more easily activates collaborative thinking.

On whiteboards students are usually willing to take risks with any and all ideas of a given task.

The students know that if their method is wrong, they can erase and try again. It has promoted that growth mindset of learning from mistakes, and then trying again.

Working on vertical spaces allows students to get out of their seats, stand to collaborate with a partner or more, and allows everyone to see everyone else's thinking of the task.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
