Whiteboards are a great way for students to present projects and lab results as well as demonstrating their knowledge on class practice problems.

They provide a space for students to collaborate and step into a presenter role amongst their peers. This strengthens learning and builds interpersonal skills.

While not everyone will want to stand in front of the class and show off their math skills in chemistry or physical science, the white boards also get students out of their seats and moving around where they can also put their ideas write their ideas down while they work through complex problems.

The research is clear, students learn best when working with others and small and large white boards help with this in several ways.

My school is a new school and the more physical tools we put in front of our students, the more varied their learning will be and the stronger their futures look.
