My Project

For my project, I am asking for a whiteboard table. My students often meet to collaborate on writing projects, work through math challenges, and peer-teach each other. Lately, I have watched small groups of students huddled around an 8" by 11" piece of paper. The paper is too small for all students to view. I think it would be a wonderful addition to our classroom to have a table with a surface that can be written on and erased over and over again. Many students will fit at this table. They can all have a marker and write their ideas on the table for all to see. I can already see how my students would use this large surface to draw up their outlines for essays, diagram sentences, and list the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur. I would also use this table as a meeting place for students to peer teach each other and draw!

My class would use the whiteboard table to work through math problems and see there is more than one way to solve a problem.

This whiteboard table would be the ideal location for my students to meet and work through a task. I believe the product they achieve will bring them great satisfaction and increase their motivation to learn new things!
