Mrs. Pinilla from Dallas TX is requesting supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need colored silicone wristbands to identify with other house members and so that teachers can easily award points for good behavior.

The Early Childhood Center serves children in PreK 3 through 1st Grade students. I lead the Special Education program at the school and our PreK students all meet federal guidelines to attend the early childhood program, showing either low income, a foster child, an active duty parent, or other requirements to qualify for school.
The students here are eager to come to school each day and learn to be their best as individuals as we emphasize that Greatness Starts Early.
The students engage in rigorous curriculum that addresses the development of the whole child. This year, we would like to begin using a house system for greater interclassroom personal development and need an easy way to identify which house children belong to.
When Our school opened, there were four classrooms and children were able to easily connect across classrooms to form a school-wide family. As the campus expands, we will start the school year with twelve classes and triple our initial enrollment, but we want to maintain that original close-knit environment.
The school is embarking on an adventure to use the house system and will need physical and visual aids to make this method age appropriate.
We are requesting colored silicone bracelets to help students identify with other members of their house in the classrooms, hallways, outdoor learning areas, and common spaces to increase camaraderie. These bracelets will also allow teachers to award points quickly and accurately rather than trying to guess which house students are in when their communication skills are lacking.
