My students need plastic storage drawers to store hand drums, rhythm sticks, and mallets. They also need guitar hooks to safely store their ukuleles in the classroom.
This project expired on August 9, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students march to the beat of their own drum! They enjoy creating their own songs whether on classroom instruments or even desks! Anything that makes a beat, you can bet a new song is about to be performed by an eager developing composer!
Students love to move around the classroom while performing their songs.
Our school teaches grades Pre-K to 8th and is considered a high poverty school. Despite the many challenges my students face, they are always eager to walk into the music classroom to learn and create!
My classroom needs storage materials to help keep our classroom instruments safe.
This year, our school was fortunate to have 32 ukeleles donated to our classroom, however, we don't have anywhere safe to place them.
With the guitar hooks, I can install them on the wall of our classroom and hang our ukuleles so they are not laying on the floor where they can be stepped on.
We also have hand drums, and other non-pitched percussion instruments that need to be placed somewhere safe after each class. The plastic drawers will help keep the instruments organized and in a specific place/
