Using buckets is a new and fun way to use as drums in the classroom. The buckets and drum sticks will allow students to incorporate their reading and composition skills they have been working on all year. Our students will learn to work together as a group in order to create a piece of music they can call their own. Our students will also gain independence as they learn how to lead a drumming group on their own. Music is a huge part of the students' culture. My hope is to foster a learning environment where students are free to express themselves musically.

About my class
