This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I hope this request finds you well and not buried under an avalanche of 6th graders armed with nothing but questions and a dire need for pencils. As you might be aware, we are facing a crisis of epic proportions: a severe shortage of pencils and other basic classroom supplies.

In the battle against blank pages, misspelled words, and poorly drawn stick figures, we need your help.

Our 6th graders are currently resorting to desperate measures such as using pens (the horror!) or even attempting to write with their fingers.

We believe every child deserves the basic tools needed to survive and thrive in the wilds of the classroom. We are requesting basics like Sharpie Permanent Markers, Post-it Easel Pads, Pencils and more. With your generous donation, we can give these young scholars the pencils they need to conquer math problems, doodle in margins, and occasionally poke their classmates (not encouraged, but it happens).

But wait, there's more! Not only will your donation provide pencils, but it will also ensure that our 6th graders have access to other vital supplies such as erasers, markers, glue sticks, and maybe even the occasional gold star sticker.

Please, don't let our 6th graders become casualties of the Great Pencil Famine of 2024. Your support can make a world of difference.
