Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work a very specific student population, English Learners, Students with IEP's, and their families. I have been given very small classroom/office that doesn't even have windows. All the items in this room are leftover items that teachers did not want anymore, eg. old/chipped tables, uneven chairs, etc..

My dream has been to create a space in where students feel comfortable when I pull them from their class and work with them.

As well as an inviting meeting room for our families, in were we discuss their child's progress.

Our students and families deserve a space in where they feel at ease and safe.
