My Students

Exploring, hands on activities, centers and fun is the way I imagine teaching and learning in a Pre-kinder classroom. But what happens when students don't have the materials to meet these needs.

Most of my students come from a low income household and deserve to come to a classroom that is able to meet their needs.

They are special because they come to school everyday with the willingness to learn. They show a determination that most adults don't have and they bring an joy to class that would melt your heart.

My Project

Teaching is moving towards small group learning. This table will give my students an place to come and work in a small group with me being the guide for them. It is also different because they will be able to draw with expo markers on the table as they learn.

This is will make learning exciting and different for the students and give them the opportunity to receive the extra attention they need based on the skills that they are learning.

This table will just be a start in my classroom but it will make a HUGE difference in the way my students will be able to learn.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
