Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember the first time you read a book and submerged yourself in the story? My students will be very happy to feel the way you felt then, and that would only be possible by helping them improve their reading ability through a guided reading library.
I am the teacher of a lively bunch of 4th graders.
Our school is in a high need community in New York City. Most of the students in the school qualify for free lunch due to their parents' low income. Most of our students live in poverty, which makes it difficult to depend on parents for donations.
My Project
My students need a library of guided reading books that will help them improve their reading skills and become able readers. You can be the one who makes a difference in the lives of my students by proving them with the Guided Reading Library that they desperately need. A guided reading library will enable me to help them become better readers, in order to submerge themselves in the stories that they have once read.
Please help my children by donating a new guided reading library.
With your generous help, I will be able to help them become better readers and thus better learners for years to come.
