Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a first-year teacher that is looking forward to meeting my first class of fifth-grade students.

My students attend a Title I school in Bakersfield, CA.

These students have faced challenges beyond the classroom, yet are resilient and excited to learn.

My Project

It is no secret that great physical education experiences require a lot of different equipment. The biggest hurdle I have found with our equipment is having the proper tool to transport the equipment to and from the classroom.

This collapsible wagon will be the right tool for our physical education needs.

Having a wagon will allow for myself and my students to gather our equipment and move it from place to place more easily which will allow for more time to participate in activities and less time on clean up.
