Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low economic community, my students are amazing because they come to school eager to learn every single day, with a smile on their face. Despite their struggles throughout their lives, my students are determined to accomplish their goals.
My students are excited to have these books because they love to read and learn about new things. My students will benefit from having these books because they will be able to learn important social skills, life lessons, and was to cope with emotions in a fun way.
My Project
My students come from a low economic community where books at home are scarce. These books will increase comprehension skills, problem solving skills, and strengthen imagination. Also, literature will help students assimilate strong language skills, such as using proper grammar, increasing vocabulary and using correct sentence structure. Also, good literature will help students learn about social skills and how to cope with the feelings that they have at school.
Books are an amazing tool to teach and help students cope with emotions students have in school settings. Reading books to students will lead to a love of reading books and life long learning.
