They've been a game changer for personalized learning on the iPads. Now students can dive into their adaptive math and reading programs, follow along with videos, and get audio feedback. They are doing all this without the usual classroom distractions. It's amazing what a difference good audio makes when each kid can work at their own pace and actually hear everything clearly.\r\n\r\nThe students were honestly so impressed right out of the box. They kept commenting on how cool the headphones looked and how great they sounded. I have to say, I was impressed too! The quality is fantastic. That initial excitement has really stuck. I've noticed some students who used to struggle with focus are now way more engaged during their independent learning time. It's like having the right equipment makes them feel more ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this happen. My second graders now have access to comfortable floor seats, wobble cushions, and sensory tools that allow them to choose how they learn best. Instead of being confined to desks all day, students are rotating through literacy and math centers using these seating options during our soft-start mornings and small group instruction. I've already noticed a huge difference—students are more focused, engaged, and able to sustain their attention, especially my English learners and those who need movement to stay regulated.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was the very first morning we used the new materials. When students walked in and saw the flexible seating, their eyes lit up. There was so much excitement, but what stood out most was how naturally they took ownership. Students carefully chose a spot, grabbed a cushion, and got right to work on their morning tasks. Even students who typically struggle to sit still were calmly working, using the wobble seats or sensory stickers to help them stay focused. It created such a peaceful and productive start to our day—something that used to be a challenge.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are using these resources to support our center-based learning and reduce reliance on iPads. Students are engaging more in hands-on activities like reading groups, writing practice, and math games while using their flexible seating. Our next steps include building stronger independence during rotations and continuing to strengthen stamina during reading and writing time. Because of you, my students are not only more comfortable—they are more confident, engaged, and excited to learn every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1769178340126,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating/9883415/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Perales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7847125_orig.png?crop=822,822,x0,y65&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1666061313094","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7847125"},{"teacherId":4036774,"projectId":9476001,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing my students with access to IXL through your generous donation. This technology has made a meaningful difference in our classroom. IXL allows students to practice reading and math skills at their own level and pace, giving them immediate feedback and support. Many of my students come from low-income families and do not have access to technology at home, so being able to use iPads and high-quality learning programs at school has been incredibly impactful for their academic growth and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most about IXL is how engaging and interactive it is. The colorful graphics, varied activities, and clear explanations make learning feel fun instead of frustrating. Students are eager to log in, challenge themselves, and celebrate their progress. They love seeing their improvement and feel proud when they master new skills, which has increased their motivation and willingness to try harder tasks.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who previously struggled in reading and math have especially benefited from this program. Because IXL adjusts to each learner's needs, students who need extra support feel safe practicing without fear of embarrassment, while advanced students are able to push themselves further. Seeing my students excited to learn, ask for more practice time, and grow academically has been truly rewarding. Your generosity has helped open doors for my students and given them tools they need to succeed—thank you for making such a positive difference in their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1757517031330,"projectUrl":"project/ixl-bridge-to-success/9476001/","projectTitle":"Ixl: Bridge to Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Frame","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4036774_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y416&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1661213587072","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4036774"},{"teacherId":6967116,"projectId":9500569,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. You may already use technology at home, but in a classroom full of kids, it truly becomes a learning lifeline. The headphones you donated have made such a big difference. My students can finally focus during their online reading without getting distracted by the noise around them. For many of my English language learners, being able to clearly hear the stories and instructions has helped them understand the material so much better.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my kids is that these headphones feel like theirs. They love having something of their own to take care of, and you can see the pride on their faces when they put them on and get started. It makes them feel more grown up and confident.\r\n\r\nA couple of my students have really connected with this new tool. One of my more easily distracted kiddos now puts on their headphones and immediately settles into their work. It's like it helps them tune out the world. Another student who is learning English told me they feel more comfortable replaying stories because they don't feel embarrassed doing it in front of everyone else. That little bit of privacy has really boosted their confidence.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this happen. Your generosity didn't just give my students headphones.
