My students need iOgrapher equipment, microphones, various lenses, two cameras and cases that will be able to quickly link and perform with their iPads and allow them to produce high grade journalism projects. Students learn in many different ways and technology is one way that students really become engaged in their learning and the world around them. Through this project, our classroom and school will embark on a yearlong journalism study with the express intent to build our students' self-confidence, speaking skills, communication abilities, community awareness along with writing and literature extensions. This project will allow our student more access to technology but also the ability to use the technology to help them better their oral communication along with fostering a clearer and wider connection with their community through green screen news broadcasts.
