My Students

I teach at an urban school in Connecticut where most of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. School is the best part of many of my students' days, and I want to show them all what the world has to offer. My students come into class every day with great enthusiasm for learning. They are eager to see the stations that await their learning for the day.

My expectations for my students are high, and I teach them to continue to have high expectations of themselves since expectations are a pivotal part of their everyday learning.

My Project

Stop going in circles and get to the point!...Help our pencils get to the point!

The pencil is the number one tool needed by all students.

This tool is a basic necessity to make any classroom run smoothly and one that is most taken for granted. It is used each and everyday, all day long. We need two new electric pencil sharpeners for our classroom because our sharpener is broken. These sharpeners will allow students to sharpen their own pencils throughout the day. This will help students build independence. They will have the necessary tools to complete classwork and further their learning.
