This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I would love to give my students the perfect learning environment and cool down spot. Often times my room is considered the calm down room. This was recently put into place not too long ago. I want the setting to be warm and cooling. An area where they can be with their thoughts without interruptions. They are deserving of the space. I am hoping that the area, I am setting up for them will help with their coping skills. With this, I am hoping students will stay out of trouble and give them an opportunity to think things through and make good choices.
