My Project

CES is a Title I elementary school in Lebanon, OR. We offer after school clubs to our students to give them opportunities to try out new things. Many of our families are not able to afford after school sports and activities, so we offer these clubs free of charge to our students.

Cheerleading Club is new this year and in less than 1 week of permission slips being available, already over 25% of the student body signed up!

We have students of all grade levels, ability levels, and genders involved. The club mission is to model inclusivity and kindness first, treating all people respectfully and encouraging others to strive to be their best selves in all situations. We really want the individuals in our club to learn lifelong lessons in leadership, teamwork, loyalty, dedication, personal growth, and helping others.

The items included in this project are individual sets of pom poms for 60 students and an inflatable tumbling mat system to work on tumbling skills.
