Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We've got rhythm- but we don't have percussion instruments. I teach fifth grade for a large urban school district in California. My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many are learning to speak English fluently. All are enthusiastic about music. Due to budget cuts, the music teacher only visits our school one day a week. She doesn't have time to work with every class, and my students are not receiving music lessons. My goal is to provide quality music instruction in my own classroom. I have already purchased a set of recorders which I am teaching my students to play. I hope you will consider providing percussion instruments. I am asking for 1 Tambourine, 1 Multicultural Rhythm Set, 1 Special Variety Rhythm Set, 1 Kids Percussion Lollipop Drum, and 1 Kids Percussion Hand Drum. Nietzsche said, "Without music, life would be a mistake." I believe that with music, a classroom can be a magical place. Please help me share the magic with my students.
