This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to the Maker Space with ideas they want to express! They need paper and markers and glue and paints to bring their ideas to life!
From creating small 3D houses for their stuffies to constructing full-size replicas of robots, suits of armor, and cartoon characters.
My students need the basic supplies to fuel their creative energy! Even though our school district understands how important it is for students to be able to create and explore their ideas, the reality is we don't have enough money to fully fund the basic needs of our students.
