My Students

Our classroom has been closed down since March 13, and staying in touch isn't easy for so many reasons from lack of access to the internet for so many of our kids to loss of income for their caregivers. One of the things that we are able to do is provide flash drives for the kids without internet access, so any video lessons can be provided through those means.

My Project

This project is requesting a green screen kit for the classroom, and can be used both while delivery is solely online and when we're back in the traditional classroom. Creating dynamic video lessons from a home studio would be helpful for us moving towards the end of this crazy year, and moving the studio into the classroom in the next academic year would give the students a really cool way to engage with and present the information they've learned in Global Studies. They can create a news presentation covering historical and current events, or advertisements for tourism in faraway lands. They could host a cooking show making international goodies - or host a dance showcase or cultural fair. Help me build a truly amazing learning experience!
