My Students

I have been teaching third grade for over 14 years now. Every year I try to keep students interested and engaged in the lessons by using different strategies, activities, and games to help review and learn the information. Since we are still in the middle of the pandemic, I want to make sure that my students have access to resources that they would normally have in the classroom and at home.

My students are at the age where they are so curious about the world around them and are eager to learn more by seeing and doing.

My school currently does not receive any Title I funding and relies heavily on our PTO or using the money out of our own pockets to fund different projects that we want to do.

My Project

My students really excel in learning when given multiple ways to practice different strategies and skills that we are learning in core subject areas. One of these ways that we can practice and review key skills is through an interactive platform called Boom Cards. Boom Cards are interactive slides that students are able to practice a multitude of skills by logging in and working through different slides that are assigned to them. One of the ways that I can purchase different Boom Cards for students to practice is through Teachers Pay Teachers. I would love these gift cards to continue to provide for students different ways to practice these important skills.
